wedding is an event of contrast and contradictions. it is not just a mix of emotions but a rollercoaster ride of a very basic feeling to the most complex of expression. for most, the best way to celebrate love is getting married, with the most important people in your life around you. that is also how i would describe the wedding of josh and irish. people from different parts of the world {philippines, united states, australia, zimbabwe and middle east}, came not just to witness their union but to be with them for some couple of days. irish is actually our former bride jill’s big sister, so aside from covering this wedding, was really looking forward to seeing jill and thom, whom i consider friends. i never think twice of accepting this assignment when josh and irish asked me to because aside from the new place to see, i really know that there’s something really special about this union.
imagine, two people from different parts of the world, met at work and tying the knot in a foreign land. but to be honest, having this chance to witness a love story so complicated yet so real is just amazing.

enjoy!
